F.A.Q.

Privacy

Is my data safe in your hands?
Yes, but it is not in my hands! Your data is on your phone and that is where it stays. (Your phone prevents my app from making internet connections.)

Plans

Can I add more than one pill to a plan?
No, at this time it is not possible to have multiple pills in a a single plan.
Can a plan remind me multiple times a day?
Not yet, the next (paid) version will be able to do this.
Can a plan remind me on alternate days?
Not yet, however the summer release will be able to do this.

Reminders

How do I change the sound of a notification?
Press menu, then Settings. You can choose the ringtone there.
I can barely see the notification icon in the status bar.
The are two notification icons. One for a light status bar and one for a dark status bar.
Press menu, then settings. You can choose the appropriate icon style.
What is the repeat interval for alerts?
The first is after 2 minutes, then 3 minutes later. So that is after 5 minutes since the original alert. And then every 5 minutes.
After 30 minutes the repeating stops.
So you get reminders without draining the battery of your phone.
How long does the snooze button delay my next alert?
The snooze buttons delays for 10 minutes and then starts the alerts from the start.

Resupply notifications

How do I calculate when I need to resupply?
I will explain with an example. If you take 1 pill (of the same kind) each day, and it takes 14 days for you to call your doctor to get new pills, then fill in 14.
If you take 3 pills each day, and it takes 7 days for you to call your doctor to get new pills, then fill in 21.
Where are my resupply notifications?
Almost everywhere! In the (regular) notification dialog, on the dashboard, basically almost everywhere where the name of your medication is displayed. Also see here.
How do I refill?
Long press an alert, plan or medication in the lists. Select ‘refill’, fill in the dialog and tap ‘Ok’. More info on this page.
Or manually edit the medicine, but that takes too long and we are busy people.

Other

Why can’t I see any fancy sliding effects?
Sometimes you have to turn them on in your phone!
Press Menu -> Settings -> Display -> Animation.
You can’t do this from the app itself, so first exit the app.
How can I get a Dutch version?
Make sure your phone is in Dutch. Check Menu -> Settings -> Language.
